Throughout the year, Concern holds a total of nine special events—six in New York City and three in Chicago—to raise awareness of and funds to support our humanitarian work around the world. These events provide people interested in Concern’s programs with an opportunity to meet our community of volunteers, staff, and supporters as well as to learn about what we do. They allow people to directly engage with Concern in a number of ways, and are designed to appeal to people from all professions and walks of life. Our events are also about the occasion: making new friends, having a great day (or night) out and hearing speakers from Concern's overseas programs, challenging yourself with the Concern for Hunger Fun Run/Walk or setting a personal best at the Chicago Golf Outing.
