Concern Worldwide US and event Co-Chairmen Ed McCarrick and George Pappas invite you to attend the Aengus Finucane Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, July 16, 2012 at the Woodway Country Club in Darien, Connecticut.
Each year more than 100 golfers join Concern Worldwide at this class A course, designed by the famous Wiley Parks, for a spectacular day of golf, fun games on the course and a delightful end evening in the company of friends with refreshments and an exciting auction. All of this in support of Concern’s education programs in some of the poorest countries of the world.
Please mark your calendars now for the 2012 Golf Tournament on Monday, July 16. An early start is promised with the day kicking off at 9:00am with registration and breakfast. Opening remarks from our Co-Chair Ed McCarrick will be followed by the shotgun start at 11:00 am.
Funds raised this year will benefit education programs in Kenya, Malawi and Niger. These programs give the poorest and most vulnerable children the chance to break the cycle of poverty, by giving them access to education – many of them for the first time in their lives.
