Global Concerns Classroom (GCC) is an innovative, dynamic, multi-faceted program that seeks to raise awareness of current international issues in US secondary schools.
Global Concerns Classroom:
- Enables students to learn about global poverty and humanitarian issues
- Encourages students to think critically and explore new perspectives on world issues and engage them in dialogue
- Empowers students to create meaningful and innovative ways to voice their opinions and take action for humanitarian causes
What We Do
Global Concerns Classroom works in collaboration with educators and students to bring international humanitarian issues into the classroom. Global Concerns Classroom connects students to the international community and creates meaningful opportunities for research, reflection, and action. All program participation is free-of-charge.
