In 2008, Concern is recruiting its largest ever "Marathon Madness Team" to celebrate our 40th anniversary and raise funds to help fight malaria in the world's poorest countries. The 2008 Marathon Madness Team will be instrumental in our fight against malaria. Malaria is a completely preventable and curable disease that continues to take the life of one child every 30 seconds.
People across the country have agreed to run a marathon for Concern in Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, and even as far away as Dublin. By joining, you will help protect the lives of 97,000 mothers and children living in the poorest communities of Ethiopia.
