Make a Bequest

Getting Started

If you plan to make a charitable gift in your will, please think it through carefully.  It is important that we leave our affairs in order to cause our loved ones as little distress as possible.

Then, meet with your attorney to discuss and update your will.  Tell him or her exactly what you want to do.  Be as clear as possible in describing what you want given to whom.

Let us Know

We hope you'll tell us when you have named Concern Worldwide US in your will.  We would very much like the opportunity to thank you for your generosity.

Please click here for Concern's official bequest language.

Concern is committed to working with the world’s poorest people. Remembering Concern in your will means we can keep responding to emergencies and help people lift themselves out of the cycle of poverty and hunger.

What could my legacy do?

  • $130 could support a vulnerable family through emergencies by providing essential food aid.
  • $7,000 could build an irrigation system for a whole village in Ethiopia helping the community to grow more and better crops.
  • $68,300 could build two schools in Niger with three classrooms in each for local children.
