- Date: May 12, 2023
- Time: Reception - 11:00 am | Luncheon - 12:00 pm
For over 20 years, the Women of Concern Awards Luncheon has been proud to recognize the achievements of exceptional women who are using their platform to amplify the voices of mothers, women, and children throughout the world. Our honorees have included former US Secretary of State – Madeleine K. Albright, #1 New York Times Bestselling Author of The Happiness Project, Gretchen Rubin, Editor-in-Chief of GLAMOUR, Samantha Barry, and Award-Winning Actress, Toni Collette.
This year’s celebrations emphasize the urgency of this moment in time, a tipping point. Will we accept that gender equality won’t be achieved for 300 years? Or will we stand up and fight like our lives and the planet depends on it? At Concern, every program we implement is designed to be gender transformative, critically examining and challenging gender dynamics to build equity and make progress against Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender Equality and ending extreme poverty once and for ALL.
Get ready for an inspiring luncheon, lively discussion, and the opportunity to make a big impact on programs that serve millions of women and girls every year.
