On Monday, August 3rd, you can help change the lives of the world’s most vulnerable people by joining us for our summer golf outing — the 18th Annual — at the stunning Chicago Highlands Club in Westchester, IL. This year’s event, Concern Chicago Golf Against COVID, is committed to the global fight against COVID-19 and protecting fragile communities from not only the disease but the ripple effects of hunger and economic devastation.
The health and wellbeing of our Concern Chicago community is our highest priority, and we have adapted this year’s event accordingly. We will strictly follow the social distancing guidelines set in place by the state of Illinois on the golf course, as well as modify food and beverage options to be contactless. The program will be replaced by a virtual component, ensuring those who do not feel comfortable being on the physical golf course quite yet are still able to join.
By participating in the annual golf outing, either on the golf course or virtually, you are joining a community of donors who believe in Concern’s proven approach to transform the lives of the world’s poorest people. This year we are choosing to honor Concern’s frontline workers who are urgently fighting COVID-19 across the globe. These individuals make it possible for Concern to respond quickly and reduce suffering when emergencies like the current pandemic hit — they save lives. By supporting this reimagined event, you’re enabling us to respond to this global crisis as it unfolds in some of the hardest-to-reach places.
There are many new ways to support this year! To secure your foursome, sponsorship or for additional information, contact Candance Patel Taylor at [email protected] or call 312-431-8400 for additional information.
