Heather Thompson
Communications Officer
As Communications Officer, Heather is responsible for managing Concern’s external communications and storytelling.
Heather’s passion for nonprofits began in 2018 at a nonprofit PR firm where she represented organizations such as Mural Arts Philadelphia, AIDS Fund, Historic Philadelphia, Inc. and Prevention Point Philadelphia. She has also worked for a research institute that focused on mitigating the effects of climate change on small islands and a nonprofit focused on mental health awareness.
Heather holds a B.A. from the University of Delaware in Mass Media Communications and a triple minor in Psychology, Spanish, and Advertising.
