IMPORTANT UPDATE (MARCH 27, 2020): In light of the current realities of COVID-19 in the US, we are postponing our Virtual Spring Run from April 4-5 to the last days of Spring: the weekend of June 19-21. The most important thing for all of us to do now is to focus on staying healthy, observe all federal, state and local restrictions, and care for our friends and family. Our awards and challenges will still take place in June, and we’ll be in touch with more details in the coming weeks. In the meantime, please stay safe and well!
From health to hunger, the need is greater than ever in the 23 countries where Concern works. Join our virtual community of hundreds of runners, walkers, and supporters in the race against world hunger. The impact of COVID-19 in those countries will only exacerbate extreme poverty and hunger. We are going to step up to meet that challenge with your help.
Run, walk, or just be active anywhere that’s convenient for you, and we’ll come together online with the hashtag #ConcernSpringRun. Participants can also post on our official results page to compete in a variety of challenges for prizes. But our ultimate finish line is a UN goal we’ve committed to reach by 2030: zero hunger. COVID-19 complicates our effort, but we’re up to the task.
If you’ve already registered, we’ll be in touch with more information as we get closer to the new date. If you’re part of a team, stay in touch with your captain. The collective energy of our teams is our secret ingredient. If you’re running as an individual, you’re an indispensable member of the Concern team!
Want to join us? Register today to stay active and make a difference with Concern Worldwide. Want to cheer from the sidelines? You can support a specific runner, or donate to the general Concern Spring Run fund.
