The Concern Worldwide Spring Run is back, and the need is greater than ever. Since we last laced up, global gains to eradicate extreme poverty have reversed due to a toxic mix of climate change, conflict and COVID-19. More than 800 million people live in extreme poverty – the majority of which reside in Concern Worldwide’s 24 countries of operation. We believe that number can and should be zero, which is why we’re dedicated to ending extreme poverty, whatever it takes. Sure, the challenge is daunting, but that’s never stopped us before, and we know it won’t stop you from turning your concern into action with 4 miles on Saturday, April 2 at the Concern Worldwide Spring Run in Central Park.
